Jovan Soldatović sculptures (9 m) dedicated to victims of the January 1942 Novi Sad raid in Žabalj, killed by Hungarian fascist forces. Complex spans 472 ha beside the Tisa River, 10 km from Žabalj on the Novi Sad–Zrenjanin road.
Listed as Historic Landmark of Great Importance. Part of the monument stolen October 2009 (B92). Recent condition unverified.

Serbian media reported that a portion of the memorial was stolen in October 2009, raising concern about the security and upkeep of monuments outside major urban centres.

Serbia classified the site among its highest-tier protected cultural monuments, recognising its significance to the memory of the 1942 raid and post-war commemorative culture in Vojvodina.
Dedication Memorial Complex Dedicated at Žabalj
Sculptor Jovan Soldatović completed nine-metre figures within a 472-hectare memorial park beside the Tisa River, roughly ten kilometres from Žabalj on the Novi Sad–Zrenjanin road.
History Victims of the Novi Sad Raid
Hungarian fascist forces occupying Bačka carried out a raid across southern Bačka in January 1942. Civilians from Žabalj and surrounding villages were among those killed — the event this memorial later commemorated.
